Do you have questions regarding the process and policies surrounding Medical Marijuana in Arkansas? We have developed this FAQ section to address some of our most frequently asked questions and provide educational resources for patients and potential patients.

WHEN SHOULD I VISIT IF I AM A NEW PATIENT?

Our hours are Monday – Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm, Friday from 9 am to 8 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm. Allow at least 30 minutes for your first visit.

IS A CONSULTATION REQUIRED IF I AM A NEW PATIENT?

Yes. All new patients are required to visit the dispensary for a consultation and to sign paperwork before placing online orders.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

NEA Full Spectrum requires all new patients to bring their State ID and Medical Marijuana Card (MMJ card).

WHAT ARE THE WAYS I CAN PURCHASE MEDICAL MARIJUANA?

NEA Full Spectrum offers several ways you can purchase cannabis products. Patients can buy medical marijuana at our dispensary or online for pick-up or delivery. You will be prompted to log in or create an account before purchasing.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY MEDICAL MARIJUANA CARD TO MAKE A PURCHASE?

Yes. We will always verify your Arkansas State Issued Medical Marijuana Card.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY CARD EACH VISIT?

Yes. You must present your MMJ card each time you visit our dispensary. We’ll require proof of your Medical Marijuana card both at check-in and while purchasing products.

CAN I BRING VISITORS?

You can bring a visitor with you if you require physical assistance. Visitors are unable to enter the dispensary area, however. All visitors must remain in the waiting room while you select products and make purchases.

HOW LONG DOES MY MEDICAL MARIJUANA CARD LAST?

Your Medical Marijuana Card (MMJ) is active for one calendar year. It will need to be renewed yearly. We recommend that you become familiar with your expiration date to prepare for a re-certification appointment with your doctor. Starting earlier ensures you have enough time for processing your renewal application with the Arkansas Department of Health.

WHAT IS AN ALLOTMENT?

Your allotment refers to the amount of cannabis you can purchase. Your remaining allotment is printed on your receipt. You are allowed 2.5 ounces every 2 weeks. Whenever you make a purchase, it takes 2 weeks for that same amount to re-appear in your available allotment.

DO I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR TO SEE IF I QUALIFY?

Yes. This is the first step to seeing if you’re an eligible candidate for medical marijuana. All patients must be approved for a Medical Marijuana Card (MMJ) by a licensed physician in their area.

WHAT ARE QUALIFYING CONDITIONS?

There are numerous conditions and symptoms that can be relieved through the use of medical cannabis. The State of Arkansas permits the use of medical marijuana for a variety of conditions that can be diagnosed by your licensed healthcare provider. Some of these conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Cancer
  • Glaucoma
  • Positive Status for HIV/AIDS
  • Hepatitis C
  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
  • Tourette’s Syndrome
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Ulcerative Colitis
  • PTSD
  • Severe Arthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Cachexia or Wasting Syndrome
  • Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Intractable pain
  • Severe Nausea
  • Seizures including without limitation to those characteristic of epilepsy
  • Severe and persistent muscle spasms
  • Any other medical condition or its treatment approved by the DOH
WHAT DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR A MEDICAL CARD?

The following are required when submitting your application:

  • The application form
  • A completed Physician Written Certification
  • Photocopy of your Arkansas issued driver’s license or state ID (remember: name and address must match what is listed on your Arkansas driver’s license or ID).
  • A nonrefundable $50 application fee

LEGISLATION INFORMATION

In 2016, Arkansas adopted an amendment to its state constitution, The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016. Here is an excerpt from the document:

“an amendment to the constitution making the medical use of marijuana legal under arkansas state law, but acknowledging that marijuana use, possession, and distribution for any purpose remain illegal under federal law; establishing a system for the cultivation, acquisition and distribution of marijuana for qualifying patients through licensed medical marijuana dispensaries and cultivation facilities and granting those dispensaries and facilities limited immunity; providing that qualifying patients, as well as dispensary and cultivation facility agents shall not be subject to criminal or civil penal ties or other forms of discrimination for engaging in or assisting with the patients’ medical use of marijuana; requiring that in order to become a qualifying patient, a person submit to the state a written certification from a physician licensed in the state of arkansas that he or she is suffering from a qualifying medical condition; establishing an initial list of qualifying medical conditions; directing the department of health to establish rules related to the processing of applications for registry identification cards and the addition of qualifying medical conditions if such additions will enable patients to derive therapeutic benefit from the medical use of marijuana”

Here at NEA, we strive to offer the best prices possible. Our loyalty program is another way for us to keep prices low and reward our loyal patients.

HOW DO I EARN LOYALTY POINTS?

Loyalty points are earned every time you make a purchase in the store. One point is earned for every dollar spent (not including dollars spent on taxes). Earn 2.5% cashback that can be used towards any purchase.

Example:

  • 100 points = $2.50
  • 200 points = $5.00
  • 400 points = $10.00
  • 1000 points = $25.00
HOW DO I REDEEM POINTS?

Loyalty points can be redeemed at the time of any purchase; just let your budtender know when you are ready to use your points.

CAN MY POINTS EXPIRE?

Yes. If not used within one (1) year.

CAN I USE MY LOYALTY POINTS WITH OTHER DISCOUNTS?

No. When using points, you cannot apply more than one discount per product.

Example: You have $10 in loyalty points and qualify for a 10% discount. You can purchase one gram, an eighth, and a jar of gummies. You can use $10 in points on one item and recieve a 10% discount on the other two items.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are located at 12001 HWY 49 NORTH, Brookland, Arkansas 72417.

WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TO VISIT THE DISPENSARY?

If you are unable to visit the dispensary, you can designate someone as your caregiver. Your caregiver must obtain a Caregiver Card from the Arkansas Department of Health in order to purchase for you. Please refer to the link below to apply for a Caregiver Card.

WHAT IF I AM VISITING FROM ANOTHER STATE?

If you are visiting from another state and have a Medical Marijuana Card (MMJ), you must obtain an Arkansas Visiting Patient card from the Arkansas Dept of Health in order to purchase from any Arkansas dispensary. You can apply for your card by clicking the link below.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

We are now open from 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 8 pm on Friday, 9 am to 7 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday!

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT & DEBIT?

We now accept debit card payments. We still do not accept credit card payments at this time. However, we have an ATM on-site. We also accept debit payments for delivery.

CAN I USE MY MEDICAL MARIJUANA IN PUBLIC?

State law mandates that you need to be out of public, at home, or in a private, non-public area.

CAN I CONSULT WITH A PHARMACIST?
